Just as the Golden Lampstand opens up the understanding of the first half of the Book of Revelation, the End-Times Eagle opens up the last half of the book.  

We have seen this following profound statement earlier in this web site, but it is so important to the understanding of the Book of Revelation, that it bears repeating it here:

The Book of Revelation is divided into TWO roughly equal parts. The first 11 Chapters are all written in KAIROS time ( The way God tells time, knowing the beginning from the end.)

The second 11 chapters are all written in CHRONOS time (The way we mortals tell time, or linear time.)

Perhaps the best way to illustrate this is to jump directly into the last five verses of Rev. CH 11. As you do so, make a concerted effort as you read these verses, to think in "Broad Strokes" or wide sweeping vistas of what the words are describing. Ask yourself this one simple question as you start to process these five important versus ---

WHY ARE THESE OBVIOUS END OF THE AGE EVENTS RECORDED HERE IN THE BOOK'S MIDDLE?

Revelation CH 11: vs. 15-19

Then the seventh angel sounded; and there were loud voices In heaven, saying, "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ and He will reign forever and ever."

And the twenty-four elders, who sit on their thrones before God, fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying, "We give You thanks, O Lord God, the Almighty, who are and who were, because You have taken Your great power and have begun to reign."

"And the nations were enraged and Your wrath came, and the time came for the dead to be judged, and the time to reward Your bond servants the prophets and the saints and those who fear Your name, the small and the great, and to destroy those who destroy the earth."

And the temple of God which is in heaven was opened; and the ark of His covenant appeared in His temple, and there were flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder and an earthquake and a great hailstorm.

THESE FIVE VERSES WERE THE END OF THE FIRST HALF OF THE BOOK, OR THE KAIROS PART.

It is at this juncture that the Focus of the scriptures switches to the last half of the book, which is recorded In CHRONOS time (linear time). Chapter 12 of The Book of Revelation recounts the casting down of Satan to the earth for three and a half years, his persecution of the woman, and then her escape into the wilderness,

ON THE TWO WINGS OF THE GREAT EAGLE.

Revelation CH. 12: vs. 14 But the two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, so that she could fly into the wilderness to her place, where she was nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.

Note that it is at this point the Great Eagle ( The United States ) is charged with protecting, and nurturing the End Time Church and a Jewish remnant for three and a half years. ( The last half of the great tribulation, to be specific.)
