© The End-Times Eagle 2004

The presence of a great eagle and the significance of the last three and a half years of this age we are living in are closely intertwined in Bible Prophecy. This website is dedicated to the task of bringing forth in these tumultuous last days the wonderful, exciting, and above all else the encouraging significance of the End Times Eagle in God's Purpose.

In addition th some strikingly fresh bread in Scriptural Revelation, we will endeavor to shed new light on some age old questions like:

Much of the insight for what you are about to discover has been given to this writer over the last three and a half years and was recorded in another end-times website connected to this one: The Scribes Lampstand

The more pertinent of those insight articles are included in this website to help flesh out this End Times Eagle concept. A couple of those articles were written before we went to war in Iraq, but the Holy Spirit guided the words. See

How God Tells Time

A very wise man once told me that understanding Bible Prophecy is easy when you know what dots to connect. The parts are all there in the scriptures. It's God's perspective that makes the difference.

Having said that, let us turn to the scripture texts that contain the knowledge we need for this revelation. We will be focusing on the last half of the Book of Daniel, chapters 7-12, in their entirety. Also, Revelation chapters 12 and 13.

Scholars for years have had no problem agreeing that Daniel and John were party to the same basic visions in their end-time writings. But because it was not yet the "appointed time" they largely missed what God has ordained would only be opened to the eyes of this generation.

Time, Times and Half a Time

(Three and a half years)

Read these last six chapters of Daniel with the controlling thought that these various great visions shown to Daniel are all connected "installments" of a bigger picture. And, most importantly, the "glue" that holds them all together is TIME. Look past the visions themselves and note how often the measurement of time is prevalent. Particularly the Three and a Half Year reference in some form or other.

Dan. CH 7,vs 3-4:

"And four great beasts were coming up from the sea, different from one another. The first was like a lion and had the wings of an eagle. (The traditional emblem for Babylon) I kept looking until its wings were plucked, and it was lifted up from the ground and made to stand on two feet like a man; a human mind also was given to it." (Visualize Saddam Hussein's statue.)

vs 5: Second beast, a bear is the Medo-Persian Empire.

vs 6: Third beast, a leopard w/4 wings, 4 heads is the Greecian Empire.

vs 7: "After this I kept looking in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrifying and extremely strong; and it had large iron teeth. It devoured and crushed and trampled down the remainder with its feet; and it was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns."

While the fourth beast described here is traditionally the great Gentile Kingdoms beginning with Rome, It is also a perfect description of the US Army tank retriever that was used to pull down Saddam Hussein's statue. Although it was not visible in most pictures of that historical moment, that tank retriever had very large iron teeth projecting out in front of it for the purpose of exposing and exploding land mines. Additionally, it was equipped with the standard tank treads that "crushed and trampled down the remainder with its feet."

Skip ahead to Daniel CH 10, vs 2-4:

"In those days, I, Daniel, had been mourning (fasting) for three entire weeks. I did not eat any tasty food, nor did meat or wine enter my mouth, nor did I use any ointment at all until the entire three weeks were completed. On the twenty-fourth day of the first month, (two days plus added to the 21 fasting days) while I was by the bank of the great river, that is the Tigris,

NOTE! That statue of Saddam Hussein that was pulled down was on a pedestal in a park right beside the TIGRIS RIVER!

ALSO NOTE! From the time that our invading army fired the first shot of the Iraq war, it took exactly twenty one days to reach that statue of Saddam and pull it down.

Vs. 5 - 11: Daniel sees the vision of a powerful angelic being, possibly even the Lord Himself. He is overwhelmed.

Vs. 12-13: 'Then he said to me, "Do not be afraid, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart on understanding this and on humbling yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to your words. "But the prince of the kingdom of Persia was withstanding me for TWENTY-ONE DAYS; then behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left there with the kings of Persia."

Daniel CH 11: This entire chapter recounts how, beginning with the Persian kings, progressing through the Greek "kings of the north and the south", all, the way up to the realm of the Antichrist, there would be constant warfare in the middle-east. A very novel way of dealing with the passage of time. Note, however, that at least three times in the chapter there are specific references to "the end is still to come at the appointed time". ( Remember our much earlier remarks about "Time Management" in the Book of Daniel?)

Daniel CH 12, vs.7: I heard the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, as he raised his right hand and his left toward heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever that it would be for a time, times and half a time; and as soon as they finish shattering the power of the holy people, all these events will be completed."

Vs. 8-9: Daniel is vexed that he does not yet see what he wants to know and he is told that these words are "sealed until the end time." (Like now!)

Vs. 10-13 "Many will be purged, purified and refined, but the wicked will act wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand, but those who have insight will understand. From the time that the regular sacrifice is abolished ( Dan. Chapter 8; we're going there in a minute.) and the abomination is set up, there will be 1,290* days."

HOW BLESSED is he that keeps waiting and attains to the 1335* days! "But as for you, go your way to the end; then you will enter into rest and rise again for your allotted portion (In Scripture) at the end of the age." (Rather than have Daniel snooze away eternity and then rise eventually somehow, consider that "his allotted portion" refers to these, his important words of prophecy, that we are now weighing in their true meaning.)

And now, dear reader, it's time to connect the dots and be blessed. It will also take us to the last half of the Book of Revelation and the Domain of the End Time Eagle.

You will note that we have repeatedly made references to "Time, times and half a time" as we traversed this site. That is a relatively broad measure of describing three and a half years, whether we are talking about our present 365 day Gentile Year, or the Jewish Year of 360 days.

HOWEVER, We are now going to do the math that will shed light on what the "extra" 45 days of Daniel Chapter 12 are all about.

To bring this about, we are going to visit those locations in the last half of the Book of Daniel and the last half of the Book of Revelation where a specific number of days is written in the visions shown to Daniel and to John.

To start the process, turn in your Bible to Daniel, CH 8, vs. 12-14. This is a reference to the time that Antiochus Epiphanes desecrated the temple and caused the regular morning and evening sacrifice (2300 total sacrifices) to cease. Divide 2300 mornings and evenings by 2 and you get the number of 1150 days. The math then looks like this:

Daniel Chapter 8……..... 1,150 days
Daniel Chapter 12……... 1,290 days
Daniel Chapter 12……... 1,335 days
Revelation 11:3............ 1,260 days
Revelation 12:6............ 1,260 days
---------------------Total 6,295 days

Average of five numbers = 1,259 days

Be aware, dear reader, that there are the above five places in the Books of Daniel and Revelation where scripture mentions a specific number of days in the end times.

The average of these five figures is exactly 1,259 days -- One day is missing!

Revelation, CH 12, vs.6: Then the woman (Israel, and the End Time Church) fled into the wilderness where she had a place prepared by God, (The United States) so that she would be nourished for one thousand two hundred and sixty days (1260 Days).

Revelation, CH 12, vs. 13-14: And when the dragon saw that he was thrown down to earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male child.

But the two wings of the GREAT EAGLE were given to the woman, so that she could fly into the wilderness to her place, where she was nourished for a TIME, TIMES, AND HALF A TIME from the presence of the serpent.
